PC users have had a variety of game controllers and gamepads to use on platforms like Steam and elsewhere, while Steam is finally adding native support for the PS4’s own home controller for users to enjoy on their PC of choice.
Steam’s latest update, in addition to a variety of fixes and changes across the service itself, has now added native controller support for the DualShock 4 controller for PC users. Once enabled in Steam’s Big Picture Mode, users will be able to use a DualShock 4 controller with supported titles on Steam, along with mappable inputs for the trackpad and other features of the controller.
While there’s no Mac Plug’n’Play support for Sony’s DualShock 4 controller, there are still a few ways that you can connect your PS4 controller to your Mac and play your favourite macOS games.
